Where we work
Hotel software for groups operating across East Africa
A group with a lodge in the Mara, a city hotel in Kampala and a property in Kigali is running three currencies and three tax regimes. Stellar HMRI treats that as configuration rather than three separate systems.
A currency and tax profile per country
Each country on the organisation carries its own currency, locale, tax label and rate. One is the default; the rest apply to the properties that need them.
One portfolio view
Group reporting reads across properties while each property keeps its own operations, staff and guests separate.
Built for lodges as well as hotels
Room status, housekeeping rounds and maintenance tickets work the same whether the room is a suite or a tented camp, and the interface runs on a tablet where there is no front desk.
Frequently asked questions
- Can one account hold properties in different countries?
- Yes. An organisation can hold several countries, each with its own currency, locale and tax configuration, and properties are assigned accordingly.
- Does it work with intermittent connectivity?
- The app is installable and caches its interface, so it loads quickly on a weak connection. Bookings and postings need connectivity to save.
